Son of a Saint has been transforming the lives of fatherless boys in New Orleans since 2011. Now, we are embarking on an ambitious growth plan to uplift more young men in our community. In March of 2020, Son of a Saint initiated an exciting and historic journey to build A Home for Our Boys. This journey began with purchase of a 12,000 sq. ft. century-old Icehouse in the heart of Mid-City.

Our vision for this headquarters space is to create a safe haven that provides Son of a Saint's young men stability in the face of uncertainty, as well as a positive environment to house and enhance critical programming.

A Home for Our Boys will include:

Individual & Group Therapy Technology Labs Tutoring ACT Classes and College Prep Sessions Career Development Training Crisis Intervention Enrichment Activities and more.

Our focus now is to raise the remaining funding needed to renovate the facility, which will be called the Ochsner Health Son of a Saint Bivian Lee, Jr. Center. Our facility is named after the father of Son of a Saint Founder and CEO Bivian "Sonny" Lee III, who also served as the namesake of the organization.

As we step into our bold future, we are calling on our community of friends, supporters and partners to bring this vision to fruition.
